Her experience extends to global mobility and outbound visa coordination, Form I-9 and E-Verify compliance, and corporate due diligence in mergers and acquisitions involving foreign talent. Valerie graduated cum laude from Thurgood Marshall School of Law, where she served as Senior Editor of the Thurgood Marshall Law Review, completed a judicial internship with the Honorable Judge Stephen Smith of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas, and interned with Lone Star Legal Aid. After law school she joined Ogletree Deakins in Austin as an Associate Attorney.
